About this dumpster rental website template
A complete site for a skip and roll-off hire business: eighteen built routes including seven per-tonne gate rate pages, sizes and weight limits, a how-it-works page, a where-it-goes page, a booking route and a two-post yard journal.
The weathered container blue a roll-on can is actually painted. Five interface tokens and no brand accent anywhere — the only colour on the site is a computed one, and the build fails on any hex the mixing engine did not produce. Barlow against Sono.
The signature move is that a clean load reads pure. Every swatch is a convex combination in linear light of six debris streams, weighted by a declared manifest — partitive mixing, which is the reason a mixed can reads as mud. Contaminants land one item at a time as a section crosses the reading line, and at the published 10% threshold the rate block flips from clean to mixed. The control is Mixed C&D, the one stream with no purity spec: run the same demonstration over it and neither its colour nor its rate moves.

Questions
Why build the whole colour system out of waste streams?
Because contamination is the entire commercial problem in this trade, and mixing colours partitively is genuinely why a mixed can reads as mud. The site cannot use a colour the manifest did not produce — which means the palette is always arguing the same thing the price list is.
The rates are in pounds per tonne.
They are data. Currency, units and figures are yours; the 20× spread between inert and mixed is the shape that matters, and it holds in any market.
Can I use it for general waste haulage?
Yes. Streams are typed data, so adding or removing them changes both the rate pages and the colour system together. What the build assumes is that you price by weight and stream, which is how the trade works.
What exactly do I get for $49?
Access to a private GitHub repository holding the complete Astro source of this template — every route you see in the preview, the content model, the images and the tests. Updates arrive in that same repository.
How many sites can I build with one licence?
As many as you like, for yourself or for clients. The licence is per buyer, not per project. The one thing you may not do is resell or redistribute the source as a template, theme or starter kit.
Do I need to know Astro?
It helps, but the common case is editing content and colour. Content lives in typed objects under src/data, colour lives in one @theme block, and npm run dev shows the result. Deploying is a static folder — Cloudflare Pages, Netlify and Vercel all take it as-is.
Is anything loaded from a third party?
No. Fonts are self-hosted woff2, there is no analytics, no tag manager, no CDN script and no external CSS. The build ships static HTML under a strict Content-Security-Policy.
