Art, museum & culture website templates

Three complete websites for cultural institutions and events, built in Astro 7 and Tailwind 4 — a contemporary gallery that hangs every work at its true size, a public observatory that runs on the real sidereal clock, and a music and arts festival in flat Riviera-poster colour. This is the smallest set here, and each one is unusually specific.

Every institution shown is invented and the demos are the templates themselves, running. You buy the source through private GitHub access, change the copy, and deploy it anywhere static. One licence covers unlimited sites, your own or a client's. $49 each, or all 62 templates for $199.

The 3 builds

Each is loud in exactly one channel — display type, palette, a moving set-piece, texture or the imagery — and deliberately quiet in the other three. That rule is what stops a set like this reading as one layout in different paint. Click any of them to read the build in full and open the live demo.

What arts & culture sites have to carry

Every build in this set ships all of it. It is the difference between a template that looks finished and one that is.

01 A permanent page per exhibition or event
Seven exhibitions, eight stations, six stages. A cultural programme accumulates an archive that writers, jurors and collectors link to — and a listing that vanishes when the show closes accumulates nothing.
02 A visiting page that answers everything
Hours, access, booking, getting there, parking. For an institution this is the highest-traffic page after the home page, and the one that absorbs the phone calls.
03 A method or programme page
The instruments, the hang, the stages. What separates a cultural site from a poster is that someone explains what is actually going on.
04 Restraint where restraint is the product
The gallery build is the one page in the whole catalog that holds every channel quiet — four rendered colours, no accent, no texture, no shadow. For a white cube that is not an omission, it is the position.
05 Imagery held to a rule
Works rendered at true size from real centimetres on a fixed eye line. Photography held inside vintage plate compositions. A hundred mixed press shots still read as one designed object.
06 An enquiry path, not a checkout
Walk-through bookings, ticket enquiries, session slots — through live mailto: and tel: paths. Culture closes in conversation, and every institution already has a ticketing provider.

What every build includes

Questions

Only three templates?

Yes, and we would rather say so than pad the set. These three are unusually specific builds — a true-scale hang, a live sidereal sky, a flat-poster festival — and none of them substitutes for the others. If none fits, the creative studio set is the nearest neighbour.

Can I use the observatory build for a museum with no astronomy?

The visiting, instruments and journal structure transfers cleanly to any small institution. The live sky plate does not — it is the whole signature, and without it you have bought a well-built museum site rather than that one. For objects in a room, the gallery build is the better base.

What does the gallery build need from me?

Real dimensions in centimetres for each work. That is what makes the hang honest — a 30 cm study and a 200 cm canvas sit together the way they would on the wall, which nothing else on the web does.

Does the festival build connect to a ticketing platform?

No. Every festival already has one, and hard-wiring a provider in would be a liability. The tickets page presents the tiers and hands off to whatever URL you give it; a pre-filled mailto: path works in the meantime.

Can I use one template for several client sites?

Yes. The licence is per buyer, not per project — build as many sites as you like, for yourself or for clients. You may not resell the source itself as a template or starter kit.
